Where do you come from and how long have the band existed?
come from brighton, originally my self and guitarist mark denman started a band called the astroids around 1980 i think, which were a rockabilly band,
lasted about a year and from there started a new band: LONG TALL TEXANS!
How define you your style of music?
I suppose it depends on how you hear it, we're still old skool psychobilly, but now more modern. not to extend as a lot of other bands. tho a lot of
people describe us as psycho/rockabilly/ska band....not that we've got sax no more!
What's the reason for this name "Long Tall Texans"?
it was an old song...just an idea
What are your musical influences and what bands do you like? uhmm.....hmmm...too many..old punk stuff,old rockabilly (all the obvious)
Of what inspire you to write your song?
i personally dont write, old guitarist mark denman wrote most of our songs, and new guitarist gary writes a lot of the new stuff, i just put stuff and
ideas together to make proper songs haha
Where and with what bands would you like to play?
i'd like to create the All Stars, with the most talented psychobilly and rockabilly musicians in north pole and bahamas...

A good or bad memory of your tours?
a van broke down on the way to poland...taking a 15 hours to get to a gig...drivers were drinking vodka on the way. half the people had left by the
time we got there. nice.

working on a new album and touring as much as we can.
