Where do you come from and how long have the band existed?
We live in Germany, in a small town which name nobody cares.
Johnny Rocket are playing together since about 1 year I think? … or 2 Years?

How do you define your style of music?
I don´t want to define it, we play what we like to play – it´s Johnny´s association of Rock n Roll and
we are not to be geared in what people like in time
What is the reason for this name?
Well, I think it´s because that everybody in this band is called Johnny Rocket (-;
What are your musical influences and what bands do you like?
Musical influences? Beer, Cigarettes and Girls ! Everything is for the girls …
Bands we like are Social Distortion, Mad Sin, The Bones, Peacocks, Shark Soup,…
but I don´t know if they are also musical influences for us
Of what do you inspire to write your new album?
The love to Rock n´ Roll – that’s all!
Where and with what bands would you like to play?
That doesn´t matter – you can have a great gig with a popular band and you can also have a great time with unknown bands.
But a dream of Johnny Rocket is to play in Hugh Heffners house someday.
Do you have other passions apart from music?
Sure! But I don´t know if it will be the right way to tell you of them in public.
Do you have rituals before going to stage?
I want to argue the band into singing the song “underneath the mango tree” before going on stage, but they fight against it tooth and nail. (-;
A good or bad memory of your tours?
Sex, drugs and Rock n Roll my friend, there´s no time for memories
Your projects?
2008 we wan´t to record a new Album which will be released at Wolverine Records maybe. Sascha
(The Manager) likes our sound, so the chances are good.
In January we wan´t to play a germany – tour for 1 or 2 weeks,
and we will play as much gigs as possible the next time.
